Speakers

Description
Speakers (includes cables and 3 rubber isolators)
Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the keyboard/top cover (see

Remove the speakers:
1.
Disconnect the speaker cable (1) from the system board.
2.
Release the display TouchScreen cable from the retention clips (2) built into the right speaker.
3.
Remove the three Phillips PM2.0×5.6 broad head shoulder screws (3) that secure the speakers to
the base enclosure.
4.
Remove the speakers (4).
IMPORTANT:
Failure to properly install or damage to these isolators can result in degraded speaker performance.
Reverse this procedure to install the speakers.
