3. Insert the cassette with the tape window on the left and facing
up. Allow the cassette to drop into the adapter. Do not force
the cassette.

4. Gently close the cassette compartment lid until it locks into
place. Make sure the cassette reel area under the adapter is
free to turn while the cassette is loading.
Notes:
You should hear a whirring sound while the tape loads.
The adapter's load detector will automatically retract into the
adapter.
Caution: If the load detector is still extending from the
side of the cassette adapter after you have attempted to
load a cassette-the cassette loading is not complete. Try to
load the cassette again. Attempting to insert the cassette
adapter into a VCR while the load detector is extended
may cause damage to the cassette adapter and/or VCR.
Remove the cassette from the cassette adapter.
