G. Rotatethe viewfinder into operating position.

Select a recording speed-SP (standard play) or EP (extended

Press and release the thumb trigger to start and stop
recording. You do not have to hold the thumb trigger to
record. An electronic alarm beeps once when you press the
thumb trigger to start recording. The alarm beeps twice
when you pr?s the thumb trigger again to pause recording.
The REC indicator appears in the viewfinder when the
camcorder is recording.
Important Note: Use
the thumb trigger for brief recording pauses.
If you plan to stop recording for a longer period, slide the
switch to turn off the camcorder's power. If the camcorder remains
the record-pause mode for more than five minutes,
