If the enclosure contacts the bracket, the isolation is defeated and may reduce the electronics operating life. If spacers are used to achieve the necessary gap, Woodward recommends maximizing the surface contact area of the spacers to maximize heat transfer between the ProAct and mounting bracket.

The following paragraphs are provided to give tips about engine problems, which can resemble governor problems. Make sure the engine is operating correctly before making any changes in the governor.
