4.7.4 Re-assemble in reverse order and carry out a gas tightness test. Re-fit
coals / pebbles as shown in section 3. The fender and ash pan cover
or fascia can now be re-positioned.
4.8 Replacing the Batteries (Within the Firebox)
4.8.1 Remove the fender and ashpan assembly The battery holder is located
on the valve at the right hand side of the burner.
4.8.2 Remove the battery cover.
4.8.3 Replace the 3 off AA batteries and check correct operation of the
appliance.
NB The handset uses two off AA batteries and should be replaced by
removing the cover on the rear of the handset.
ENSURE THE BATTERIES ARE CONNECTED TO THE CORRECT POLARITY
