VGA Connector (VGA1)
The ASMB-584 includes a VGA interface that can drive conventional CRT displays.
Pin assignments of VGA1 are detailed in Appendix B.

Serial Ports (COM1, COM2)
COM2 COM1
The ASMB-584 offers two serial ports (both are onboard pin-headers). Both ports can
connect to a serial mouse, printer or communications network.
The IRQ and address ranges for those ports are fixed. However, if you want to dis-
able the port or change these parameters later, you can do this in the system BIOS
setup. Different devices implement the RS-232 standards in different ways. If you are
having problems with a serial device, please be sure to check the pin assignments for
the connector.
