J. Install Decorative Barrier Front and
Surround
A decorative barrier front and surround is required to
complete this installation. Installation instructions are
included with the decorative barrier front and surround.
Consult your dealer for a list of decorative barrier front
and surround options.
WARNING! Risk of Fire! Install ONLY doors or fronts
approved by Hearth & Home Technologies. Unapproved
doors or fronts may cause fireplace to overheat.
This fireplace has been supplied with an integral
barrier to prevent direct contact with the fixed glass
panel. DO NOT operate the fireplace with the barrier
removed.
Contact your dealer or Hearth & Home Technologies if
the barrier is not present or help is needed to properly
install one.
For more information refer to the instructions supplied with
your decorative barrier front.
See Figure 9.5 for Reset Switch Detail. The Reset Switch
included with the surround needs to be wired to the
appliance. Reference front/surround instructions (included
with the decorative barrier front) and wiring diagram in
Figure 6.2.
• Reset switch must be installed and in the "ON" position
for appliance to operate.
NOTE: For on site custom surround details, see instruc-
tions included with the surround.
