Checking the rear brake linings

Warning
Danger of accidents Worn-out brake linings reduce the braking effect.

Ensure that worn-out brake linings are replaced immediately. (Your authorized KTM workshop will be
glad to help.)
Main work
–
Stand the vehicle upright.

Remove screw cap with insert and membrane
–
Add brake fluid up to the MAX marking.
Brake fluid DOT 4 / DOT 5.1 (
–
Mount and tighten screw cap with insert and membrane.
Info
Clean up overflowed or spilled brake fluid immediately
with water.
