Windows 2000 DLL modes
Most functions in the Windows 2000 DLL have these
three modes:
• Full Windows NT 4.0-compatible mode
• Partial Windows NT 4.0-compatible mode
• Multi-monitor mode
Each function's parameters determine the mode. Where
possible, function names and parameters in the Windows 2000
DLL use the same names and parameters that they used in
previous versions. The main difference among the modes
is in the way applications use the parameters.
