Symptom
Router head does not stop af ter
contacting tool touch-of f puck.
Machine will not move af ter
controller receives commands.
Machine moves to new position
satisf actorily but does not return
correctly to original position.
Abnormal operation when

Af ter controller powers on, one
or more axes move only one
direction.

Possible Cause
Poor connection of between the
touch-of f device and gantry
connections.
Poor connection of spindle with
"GND" terminal on interf ace
board.
One axis not moving – may be
poor connection.
All axes not moving.
Mechanical elements, such as
ballscrews, are loose or
misadjusted.
The Stepper motors have
slipped and lost position.
Program/drawing f ile is f aulty.
Improper connection between
DSP board and motor drive.
Correction
Inspect connections inside
touch-of f device and gantry.
Restore proper connection.
Connect a dif f erent axis
connection to this terminal to
test. If it works, the motor driver
is okay. Check connections
along corresponding drive and
motor.
First, check 50-pin cable
connection to interf ace board.
Then check the power supply of
motor drivers. Last check
mechanical elements of axis
system.
Inspect and correct as needed.
Check speeds and proper
lubrication on all ballscrews and
prismatic guides.
Review program and reload to
system. Verif y the f ile is
completely saved bef ore
removing USB f rom PC.
Inspect connections.
