The movement speed mode selected can be seen on the controllers coordinate screen display,
on the f ar right, third row down. To switch between these two (2) modes, use the High/Low
button.
Low Speed (LSP) – has a grid of 0.1mm f or positional movements and a continuous speed that
is set at 1500mm/min def ault.
High Speed (FSP) – has a grid of 0.5mm f or positional movements and a continuous speed that
is set at 2500mm/min def ault.
1. Continuous mode – Hold down any axis directional button, i.e. X+/-, Y+/-, Z+/- and the head
will move until the button is released.
a. The controller will display the location of the router in relation to the current Origin as it
moves.
b. During the f irst 0.5 seconds the button is held down the machine will operate as if in step
mode and move to the nearest grid at a lower speed.
c. While in continuous mode, the machine will always stop on a grid position.
2. Step mode – Tap (toggle) any of the directional buttons, i.e. X+/-, Y+/-, Z+/- to move the
router head in grid based increments. Usef ul f or the precise placement of coordinates and
tooling.
a. Movement speed is def ault at one grid distance per 0.5 sec.
b. Low speed (LSP) def ault is 0.1mm grid.
c. High speed (FSP) def ault is 0.5mm grid.
3. Distance mode – Allows the input of a set distance to which the router will move. To use the
distance mode:
a. Press MODE, to cycle through until it displays Dist. The numerical distance will be
highlighted.
b. Enter the required distance and press OK. Display will now show Dist with the numerical
distance no longer highlighted.
c. Tap any of the directional buttons to move the router head the programmed distance in
that direction.
4. GoTo Position – Allows a unique ability to move to a specif ied point (in relation to the
programmed Origin). Press Mode + Menu simultaneously to bring up the GoTo Pos screen.
a. The controller will display the GoTo coordinate screen.
