6. USB-ScanSoft software

6.3.2 "Device" register

All instruments found are listed here after the search. Before starting a measurement,
the measurement parameters can be set here.

Each instrument found will be displayed as shown in the figure above.
The settings are grouped and the heading of each group already contains all the
important data.
By left-clicking on the arrow symbols next to the respective group, the details can be
shown or hidden.
The required settings must be made in the fields before starting the data logging. These
can be made individually for each instrument.
As soon as a text field has been left and changed, the respective value is sent to the
instrument. Should an instrument not support something, a message is received or the
field is changed to the instrument value.
If invalid values were entered, the respective field is outlined in red. These values are not
sent to the instrument.
