Server Chassis Features
The following is a general outline of the main features of the SC813MFTQ-441CB
chassis.
System Power
When confi gured as a SuperServer 6017R-MTLF, the SC813MFTQ-441CB chassis
includes a single 440W-480W power supply.
SATA Subsystem
The SC813MFTQ-441CB chassis was designed to support four SATA hard drives,
which are hot-swappable units.
Control Panel
The SC813MFTQ-441CB's control panel provides important system monitoring and
control information. LEDs indicate power on, network activity, hard disk drive activ-
ity and system overheat conditions. The control panel also includes a main power
button and a system reset button.
Cooling System
The SC813MFTQ-441CB chassis has an innovative cooling design that features
fi ve 4-cm high-performance system cooling fans and an air shroud. Each of these
fans plug into a chassis fan header on the serverboard. The air shroud channels the
airfl ow generated by the fans to effi ciently cool the processor area of the system.
Fan speed is controlled by IPMI.
