Low-Pressure Lamps and Starters

Low-pressure lamps must be replaced when the useful lamp
life as recommended by manufacturer has run out or if a
low-pressure lamp becomes defective.
Starters must be replaced whenever a lamp starts "flickering"
or if a lamp which is not otherwise defective does not light
up.
Advanced UV Light recommends to replace

starters (conventional type) at every second lamp
change.
Disassembly
 If you want to replace a low-pressure lamp in the top,
disassemble the top plexi as described on page 30.

If you want to replace a low-pressure lamp in the sunbed,
proceed as follows:
– Disassemble the body cooling fan as described on
page 27.
– Open the sunbed top and secure it with sunbed plexi
suport from falling down as described on page 28.

Turn the low-pressure lamp clockwise by approx. 90
degrees.

Lift the low-pressure lamp out of its holder.

Turn the starter contrary to clock direction by approx. 90
degrees.
 Remove the starter.
ATTENTION!
Never dispose of low-pressure
lamps with regular domestic
waste. Dispose of lamps in
an environmentally safe way
according to applicable local/
national regulations and
standards.
 Dispose of defective or used up low-pressure lamps.

Assembly

Put the new starter into the holder by turning it clockwise
by approx. 90 degrees.
 Put the new low-pressure lamp into the holder.
 Turn the lamp clockwise by approx. 90 degrees.
The low-pressure lamp locks with a slight "click" sound into
the holder. The marking at the low-pressure lamp end shows
to the front.
 If you have replaced a low-pressure lamp in the top, re-
assemble the top plexi as described on page 31.
 If you have replaced a low-pressure lamp in the sunbed,
proceed as follows:
– Re-assemble the body cooling fan as described on
page 27 and
– Close the sunbed plexi as described on page 29.
