Troubleshooting
Symptom
"0:00" blinks on the display when the
power plug is connected.
Condensation collects in the upper
casing.
Nothing happens when a key is
pressed.
The lid does not close or opens
during cooking.
There is a smell of plastic.
There are stripes or waves on plastic
parts.
Food sticks to the lid during
concurrent cooking.

Display
A code starting with "E" appears on the
display.
Plastic parts
Plastic parts that are exposed to heat or steam may deteriorate over time. In this case, contact the place of
purchase.

Check point
Are the current time, preset timer
settings, and elapsed Keep Warm
time lost when the power plug is
connected again?
The [Keep Warm/Cancel] key
and [Timer] key were pressed
simultaneously.
Condensation may collect in the upper casing immediately after rice is
cooked or while the Keep Warm function is on but it is not a malfunction.
Wipe the upper casing using a dry cloth when condensation collects.
Is the appliance plug properly
connected to the appliance plug inlet
of the rice cooker and the power
plug connected to an outlet?
Is the Keep Warm lamp lit?
Are there any cooked rice or grains
of rice on the upper casing and
inner lid gasket, or around the hook
button?
Is the inner lid set in the rice cooker? Set the inner lid.
Such smells may occur when the rice cooker is first used, however, they
should go away over time.
Such stripes and waves are produced when the resin is being molded.
They do not affect the performance of the rice cooker.
When cooking with ingredients that expand during heating, such as eggs
and the like, some of the ingredients may stick to the inner lid. If this is an
issue, reduce the amount of the ingredients.
There is a possibility of malfunction. Disconnect the power plug and
contact the place of purchase to request repairs.
Action
The lithium battery has run out,
however, normal cooking can be
performed.
Contact the place of purchase to
request services for lithium battery
replacement.
Set the correct present time.
Be sure to connect the appliance
plug to the appliance plug inlet and
the power plug to an outlet.
Press the [Keep Warm/Cancel] key
to turn off the Keep Warm function
and then try the operation again.
Completely remove all remaining
rice.
