6. Initial start-up

DANGER
Risk of electric shock
Improper handling of the device
can lead to electric shocks.
• Initial start-up may only be
carried out by a qualifi ed
electrician.
• The machine must only be
operated in dry rooms indoors.
• Keep the device and the power
plug away from hot surfaces and
naked fl ames.
• Connect the power plug to the device and lock
the power plug.
• The voltage and frequency of your power
supply must match the specifi cations on
the type plate of the device.
• During initial start-up, ensure that
the power plug is unobstructed and cannot be
trodden on.
• Always connect the device to a properly ins-
talled socket.

• Before initial start-up, check that the safety
equipment of the device is present, undamaged
and functional. Do not start up the device until
all safety equipment has been installed properly
and is fully functional.
• Take the device out of operation in the event of
faults or damage to the safety equipment.

7. Operation

Before operation, the operator must have
read and understood the entire operating
manual, particularly the Safety chapter.

Switching the device on

• Put the main switch into the "I" position.
Check the safety switch at
the maintenance fl ap
• Open the maintenance fl ap.
If the equipment is operating correctly,
the status bar lights up in red, the red LED
on the operator control panel fl ashes and
the message "Flap open" appears on
the operator control panel.
