Assembly - Guardian Fall Protection Angel Anchor Instruction Manual

When used on an industrial steel clad roof up to 15 degree pitch, the anchor must be placed on
the opposite pitch to the user at a minimum of 8 feet (2.5m) from the ridge.

Assembly:

1. Locate the position of the Angel Anchor, ensuring that no part of the anchor is less than 8
feet (2.5m) from any edge, roof opening, etc. Also, ensure that the roof area is free from
loose debris, oil, algae, etc.
2. Carefully place the central frame of the unit onto the selected roof position.
3. Arrange the twelve (12) weighted pads around the frame, placing two pads at the end of
each frame member, anti skid side down. The skid material resembles sand paper.
4. Ensuring that the collar end is facing towards the center of the unit, slide a weighted pad
onto one of the sic (6) frame members through the collar ¾ of the way down the tube.
5. Slide a second weighted pad on the same frame member. Verify that the collar is
completely on the frame member.
6. Align holes on the frame and collar, then insert and connect wire locking pin.
7. Repeat steps 4 through 6 for the remaining weighted pads.
8. Connect the fall protection device to the anchor point provided.
