APMxxxx Series User's Manual
10. Operation
When the power source to the APM has been switched on, check that the green "Power" LED light on the front panel is
illuminated. Any other illuminated LEDs will be reflecting the current state of the various alarms - based on the current
programmed configuration.
If one or more optional Channel Alarm Modules (CAMs) and/or Site Alarm Modules (SAMs) and Receive Systems Module
(RSM) are fitted, the green "Power" LED light on their panel is illuminated. This LED will "pulse" at regular intervals to indicate
comms activity between them and the host APM. Any other illuminated LEDs will be reflecting the current state of the various
inputs/outputs and alarm states - based on the current programmed configuration.
A CD or USB memory stick is provided with the APM and contains copies of the QSG (Quick Start Guide) and APM User's
Manual and other supporting information and files.
In addition to using the integral Web Browser GUI, the APM (and any connected CAM/SAM/RSMs) can also be communicated
with via a CLI (Command Line Interface) using plain text format via a Telnet IP session. For information on the CLI format
please contact the RFI Technical Support team.
