If the eZ1 is connected to a PC:
• Check if the Gendex Video application is correctly installed and its icon appears as
described in Section 6 (above).
• Right-click on the Gendex Video icon, select "Product-Source/Choose video source" and
make sure that eZ1 is the seleced source. Then right-click on the Gendex Video icon
again and select "Live Video/Start Video Source").

8. MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE

No special maintenance is necessary on the dental camera. All of the parts can be cleaned
with a soft and damp duster.
If one of the camera handpiece or the docking station components is broken, send back
the whole handpiece or whole docking station, to have the defective parts replaced.
No Service Manual is available.
WARNING: Do not open the device to service it. If there is a service problem, please call a
qualified dealer service representative, Gendex Technical Support at 1-800-769-2909, or
one of the contacts listed in Appendix B.
NOTE: If the eZ1 is connected to a PC, please make sure your computer, imaging
software, USB2 port or capture board are properly installed and operating prior to
contacting Gendex for technical support.

8.1. Returning goods

Shipment of the system or any of its components and accessories should be done so using
their original shipping containers. Do not reuse damaged shipping containers.
CAUTION: Originator assumes all liability for damages incurred to equipment during
shipment to Gendex for warranty or non-warranty repairs.
NOTE: All the returning goods must be pre-authorized. See Appendix B for details.

9. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

Below are the specifications of the product at the time of printing. Gendex reserves the
right to change the design and specifications at any time without notification.
Caution: System installation shall be in accordance with the requirements of IEC 60601-
1-1, The Standard
Patients should only be connected to applied parts of equipment complying with IEC
60601-1. Other equipment used in the system should comply with relevant IEC or ISO
Standards.
Not suitable for use close to a mixture of inflammable anesthetic with air or oxygen or
nitrous oxide.
Complies with the European standard 93/42/CEE.
