Assembling the modular chain belt
Observe the following during assembly:

Select the chain length so that the contraction of the chain ends is done with little effort.
ǃ
With a tight chain, rattling will be heard at the drive station.

1. Dismantle one side part on the deflection.
2. Insert the sliding tabs (2), located on both sides of
the chain, into the guides (1) of the chassis.
3. Check the run using a short piece of the chain.
4. Remove any existing clamping points and rework
seams, if necessary.

Observe the running direction of the chain, this
is marked by an arrow on the underside of the
chain.
5. Insert the chain into the deflection in running
direction and push/pull until the chain has been
completely pulled through the conveyor
6. Put the ends of the chain together and thus close
the chain.
7. Remount the side part on the deflection.
