WE310F5-I/P Evaluation
Board
Quick Start Guide
This Quick Start Guide will walk you through the easy
steps required to setup and run the Serial-to-Wireless
application.
WE310F5 module evaluation board has two variants:-
- WE310F5-I has antenna mounted on the module; &
- WE310F5-P has only RF PAD and requires external
antenna.

The external antenna variant WE310F5-P EVB has the
RF connector as show in the figure below:

To work with one the above boards you will need the
following items:
• Quick Start Guide (this document)
• WE310F5 Evaluation Board
• 1 Micro-USB Cable
• Antenna in case the "WE310F5-P" module
• Programming tools and binaries
• Below are the ports required for Program & Run mode:
- UART0 Port: Run Mode
- UART1 Port: Programming Mode

Program the WE310F5 Module

Step
Plug a micro-USB cable: one end of the USB
cable to USB power port on the WE310F5 EVB and the
other end of the USB to the PC or laptop.

Step
Turn the PROGRAM/RUN switch to
PROGRAM.

Step
Downloaded the package "39.00.000-B017.zip"
from Telit Download Zone and unzip the folder:
https://www.telit.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/
Telit_WE310F5_39.00.000-B017.zip
Browse into "Telit_Wifi_Image_Tool" sub-folder and launch
the "Telit_Wifi_Image_Tool.exe".
Note: Please check and download the latest firmware
version from
https://www.telit.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Telit_WE310F5_39.00.000-
B017.zip
