Error message
Format the disk.
Fax Station Name not set up. Contact
system administrator.
Fax Station Number not set up.
Contact system administrator.
No analog phone line connected to
modem, fax is disabled.
Unable to connect to HTTPS Fax
Server.
Memory full, cannot print faxes.
Memory full. Cannot send faxes.
Incorrect printer time.
E-mail SMTP server not set up.
Contact system administrator.
Solution
Formatting now wipes all information
from the storage drive.
To format the disk, do the following:

From the home screen, touch
Settings > Device >
Maintenance > Out of Service
Erase.

Touch Sanitize all information
on hard disk orErase Intelligent
Storage Drive, and then touch
ERASE.

Check the connection and the line for
a signal. For more information, see
"Setting up fax using a standard
telephone line" on page
Connection to HTTPS Fax Server is
disconnected. Check the Internet
connection of the printer.
Touch Print All to print as many of the
faxes as have been saved.
Try one or more of the following:
Continue and try sending the fax
again.
Scan the original document one
page at a time, dial the fax
number, and then scan the
document.
To set the correct printer time, do the
following:

From the home screen, touch
Settings > Device > Preferences.

Touch Date and Time, and then
set the correct time.
Try either of the following:
Set up your email function. For
more information, see
"Configuring the e‑mail SMTP
settings" on page

Disable the error message. For
more information, see
the 'SMTP server not set up' error
