POSITION (fi g. 11)
The appliance should be positioned in good light and
free from draughts. Any adjoining wall surface situated
within 200 mm from the edge of any hob burner must be
a suitable non-combustible material for a height of 150
mm for the entire length of the hob. Any combustible
construction above the hotplate must be at least 750
mm above the top of the burner and no construction
shall be within 450 mm above the top of the burner.
Where a combustible surface adjacent to the cooker
is less than 200 mm from the nearest burner it may
be protected by a non-combustible protective layer in
accordance with AS5601/AG601. The protection must
ensure the surface temperature of the combustible
surface does not exceed 65º C above ambient.

LEVELLING THE COOKER
• Adjustable feet, to be fi tted to the appliance, which
allow the height of the cooker to be aligned with
other kitchen furniture This can be done by means
of the terminal part of the leg themselves (fi g. 13)
• Spacers, positioned behind the rear panel to keep
the appliance at the minimum required distance
from the back wall. These must not be removed.
• Backguard. The cookers which are equipped
with this accessory, leave of the factory with this
particular inserted inside the packaging. In order to
install the backguard, it is necessary to loosen the
screws positioned on the back of the hob and then
to fi x the backgaurd as indicated in fi gure 14
