    DESCRIPTION The Radica Provisional System includes visible light-cured, resin-based composites and accessories used to create provisional restorations for patients awaiting final prosthodontic restoration. INDICATIONS FOR USE 1. I ndicated for the fabrication of all provisional dental restoration for a term of use of up to 6 months.

    If eye or skin irritation occurs, get medical attention. Suspected of damaging fertility or the unborn child. Avoid breathing mist, vapors or spray. Use in a well-ventilated workspace to avoid inhalation. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Avoid release into the environment. Dispose of contents and containers in accordance with local and national regulations.
  • Page 4 EQUIPMENT Radica Syringe Heater The Radica resin must be heated prior to application. Plug in the Syringe Heater and turn on the unit. The heater is preset to 140°- 147°F (60˚-64˚C). Allow the heater to warm up for about 30 minutes. Approximately 10 minutes prior to use, place the necessary dentin and enamel syringes in the heater slots.

Apply the putty to the area of the model requiring the provisional restorations. Be sure to also capture the adjacent teeth, and extend the putty down at least 2mm past the marginal area.

Immediately place the matrix onto the prepared model, allowing the excess material to escape around the margins. 4. Allow the material to set approximately 2-3 minutes. 5. Remove the matrix putty from the model. If necessary, additions may be made by using the electric spatula and applying some enamel or dentin resin.

  • Page 13 BUILD UP OF A TOOTH ON A DENTURE BASE NOTE: Radica can be bonded to conventional acrylics or Eclipse resin using the following procedure. To prevent any distortion of the denture base resin, be sure to have the appliance on the model when curing. 1.

    REAZIONI AVVERSE Il sistema Radica contiene componenti che possono causare secchezza cutanea, sensibilizzazione (dermatite allergica da contatto), gravi irritazioni oculari o altre reazioni allergiche nei soggetti sensibili. Se necessario, applicare il separatore per modelli all’area di riparazione del modello e riporre il restauro sul modello.
