Troubleshooting on Opti-Air system

Problem
The combustion mode does not
change to Burning after "Firing
Up".
The combustion mode changes
to Cooling down after "Firing
Up".
The combustion mode does not
change to Burning after Refill.

Possible cause
The combustion chamber is
not hot enough
The moisture content of the
wood logs is too high
The seal around the door is
damaged
The convection ventilator is
defect
Household particles (for ex-
ample from pets, clothing,
cigarettes, candles) flow via
the convection air inlet
alongside the hot appliance.
The particles burn when in
contact with the hot appli-
ance. The residual black
particles flow via the con-
vection air outlet to the
room.
Possible cause
The amount of fuel is insuffi-
cient during Firing up.

Possible solution
• Use the recommended amount
of fuel. Refer to section 6.2.1.
• Increase the amount of com-
bustion air with the control lev-

moisture content of 10 - 20 %.

the surround of the convection
air inlet.
• Remove the air inlet and air
outlet grates and clean the
grates. Put the grates back af-
ter cleaning.
• Make sure the room is suffi-

presence of household parti-
cles. It is recommended to use
a vacuum cleaner every day.
