Please read the instruction carefully before operating the unit.

When you unpack your party speaker, make sure that you have removed all the accessories and information papers:

Installing Battery
Insert 2 "AAA/UM4" batteries to the remote control prior to use. Make sure to match their polarities (+/-) to the markings inside the compartment.
Before throwing any batteries away, consult your distributor who may be able to take them back for specific recycling.
NOTES:
- Never recharge the batteries, apply heat to them or take them apart.
- If the remote control is not going to be used for a long time, remove the battery to avoid damage caused by battery leakage corrosion.
- Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
- Do not throw batteries in fire!
- Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
POWER SUPPLY
- Connect the detachable AC cord (included) to the AC socket on the rear of the unit.
- Plug the power cord into 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz AC outlet.

- Insert the plug of power cord into a standard wall outlet
- The included AC power cord is for use with this unit only. Do not use it with other equipment.
- When the unit is not going to be used for long time, disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet.
- Be sure to use it near the wall outlet. If a malfunction occurs, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet at once.
- If the AC power cord is plugged in, the apparatus is not completely disconnected from the main power source, even when the unit is turned off.
- AC power cord is used as the disconnect device. It shall remain readily operable and should not be obstructed during intended use. To be completely disconnected the apparatus from supply mains, the AC power cord of the apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains socket outlet completely.
TURNING UNIT ON/OFF
- Press POWER (27) button to "ON" position, the unit will turn on automatically and the display will light up. You will hear the voice "Power on".
- Press and hold
(1/ R1) button to enter into standby mode. You will hear the voice "Power off". - Press
(1/ R1) again to turn the unit on manually. - Press POWER (27) button to "OFF" position to turn off the unit. The display will light off completely after a few seconds.
Note: In a concern of saving energy, when playback has reached to the end or listening volume is set at a very low level and no control is operated on the device for a period of 20 minutes, the unit will automatically switch to Standby mode.
SELECTING FUNCTION
The function (Bluetooth, USB, TF, AUX, LINE) is selected by pressing
(1/ R2) button repeatedly.
Note: Only insert USB device, TF Card or Aux in cable could switch into related modes.
AUDIO CONTROLS
- EQ: Press the EQ (4/ R13) button to toggle among the different sound effects:

. The selection will show on display for few seconds. - MEGA BASS (5/ R14): It is a separated bass mode that can be selected when there is audio signal.
- TONE (R7): When there is audio signal, press this button to select treble or bass effect, then press VOL+/VOL- (R9) button to adjust the level as desired.
- MUTE: Press MUTE (R3) button on remote control to mute the sound. Press again to restore.
BLUETOOTH FUNCTION

- Turn off the Bluetooth functionality of other devices that were paired with your unit.
- When the unit is on, press
(1/ R2) button repeatedly to select Bluetooth mode. "
" will show on display. - On the Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and select "MUSE M-1982DJ" from the Device List. (Refer to the user manual of the device to be connected for detailed operations.) If the Bluetooth device prompts for a passcode, use "0000". Some Bluetooth devices will ask you to accept the connection. If the unit is paired properly, an indication sound can be heard.
Tip: If you want to connect your Bluetooth speaker to another Bluetooth audio device, press and hold the
(2/ R12) button or press CONNT (R16) button to disconnect the device, and then follow the steps above to make a new connection.
- On some devices such as computers, once paired you must select the unit from the Bluetooth menu and choose "Use as Audio Device (stereo)" or similar.
- Pairing remains intact when the unit and/or your Bluetooth device is taken out of communication range. An active connection will be re-established when your Bluetooth device returns within range.
- When the unit is turned on again, it will automatically try to reconnect with the most recently paired Bluetooth device.
Using a Bluetooth Device
- With a unit paired (see previous section), operate your Bluetooth device and its sound will be heard through the M-1982 DJ's speakers.
- Press the
button to pause playback. Press again to resume playback. - Select desired track with
/
. - Adjust the volume using the MUSIC VOL knob on unit or VOL+/ VOL- button on remote control. You can also adjust the volume on the device to which you are paired.

LISTENING TO USB/TF card
To insert an USB device (not included)
To insert an USB device (not included) connect your USB device to the USB port, the set will switch to "
" mode automatically. If USB has already been inserted, press
(1/ R2) button to switch to USB mode.
To insert a TF card (not included)
Insert your TF card in the card slot, the set will switch to "
" mode automatically. If a card has already been inserted, press
(1/ R2) button to switch to card mode.
Basic player functions
Play/pause: Press the
button to pause playback. Press again to resume playback.
Skip/fast search:
- Press
to skip forward to next track. - Press
to skip backward to previous track. - Press and hold
or
to search quickly within a track.
Repeat playback
Press REPEAT (R17) on remote control repeatedly to select a play mode.
- Repeat One: Display shows "
" for 2 seconds. - Repeat All: Display shows "
" for 2 seconds. - To cancel repeat playback, press REPEAT (R17) on remote control until "
" appears.
Note
- The total number of MP3 files on the USB device and TF card should not exceed 9999.
- The device may not contain more than 99 directories.
- The reading time takes about a few seconds or more depending on the amount of MP3 files and folders on USB device and TF card.
- Do not put anything other than a USB device to the port of this unit. Other objects may damage the USB mechanism.
- Do not put anything other than a TF card to card slot of this unit. Other objects may damage the card mechanism.
- The USB socket must not be connected to the computer directly, for that may damage the unit.
- There are many USB devices and TF card in the market. We cannot guarantee to support all different models. Please try another USB device and TF card if your device is not supported
- The unit might not support all the multimedia files stored in USB or TF card because it includes some special playback procedure which might not be compatible with the procedure of this unit.
LISTENING TO AUXILIARY SOURCE
To 3.5mm AUX IN jack
- Connect your auxiliary source (e.g. iPod/ iPad/ MP3 player) to the AUX in jack (3.5mm).
- When the unit is on, press the
(1/ R2) button repeatedly until the "
" appears on display. - Start playback from your auxiliary source.
- Adjust the volume to desired level.
- To stop playback, disconnect your auxiliary source from the AUX in jack.
- Connect your auxiliary source (e.g. DVD player) to the INPUT L/R jacks on back of unit with RCA audio cable (cable not included).
- Press
(1/ R2) button repeatedly to select line in mode. The display will show "
". - Start playback from your auxiliary source.
- Adjust the volume to desired level.
- To stop playback, disconnect your auxiliary source from the INPUT L/R jacks.
STEREO PAIRING
This function makes it possible for you to get stereo surround sound quality. It requires two Bluetooth speakers M-1982 DJ to realize the real Bluetooth radio channel wireless separation, therefore, you've got to purchase two M-1982 DJ.
Tips: It is suggested that the distance between the main speaker and secondary speaker is within 4 meters.

Strictly follow the steps below to ensure the stereo pairing function works properly.
- Turn on the two Bluetooth speakers M-1982 DJ. Press
MODE (1) button repeatedly to select Bluetooth mode for both speakers. - When both speakers are in pairing mode, press
MODE (1) button twice on one Bluetooth speaker which will become the main speaker (left channel), the display will show "
" (searching), then it will search and connect to the secondary speaker (right channel). They will recognize the left and right channel automatically. You will hear the indication voice "Left Channel" and "Right Channel" at the same time when the two speakers are connected successfully. And the display will show "BT-L" (Left) and "BT-R" (Right). - Press
MODE (1) button repeatedly on main speaker to select the desired main source: Bluetooth, USB, TF, LINE IN or AUX. If Bluetooth mode is selected, enable your Bluetooth device and select "MUSE M-1982DJ" from the device list. If the unit is paired properly, an indication voice can be heard. (For specific operations of each mode, refer to the previous sections.) - Press
button on either speaker to pause playback. Press again to resume playback. - Press
MODE (1) button twice on either speaker to disconnect the stereo pairing. The unit will continue playback in main speaker.
Note: In stereo pairing mode, only main speaker could perform mode change, volume control, and light effect ect.
PARTY CHAIN FUNCTION
You can connect multiple audio using audio cords (not supplied) in a chain to create a more interesting party environment and to produce higher sound output. Activate a unit in the chain to be the "Party Host" and share the music. Other units will become "Party Guest" and play the same music as the "Party Host". As for "Party Host", it could switch to BT, Aux, Line in, TF or USB mode, for "Party Guest", it has to be on "Line in" mode.

Party Chain
USB CHARGING
This unit is equipped with a built-in USB charging port (Output: 5.0V
1.0A) for recharging your mobile device (e.g. Smartphone, tablet, etc.)
Simply plug the USB charging cable (not included) into the USB charging port and connect it to your mobile device.
USING THE MIC/GUITAR JACK
The MIC2/GT jack of unit can be compatible with microphone set and guitar.
Guitar playback
- Press
(1/R1) button to turn on the unit. - Plug your electronic guitar into the MIC2/GT (9) jack on the unit.
- Start to play your guitar and the sound will be output from the unit.
- Press MIC/GT (16/R4) button repeatedly to select guitar input option. Then rotate MIC2/GT VOL knob to adjust the desired volume level.
- To stop playback, disconnect your guitar from the MIC2/GT (9) jack.
SINGING THROUGH MIC JACK
- Sing along with the music by plugging the microphone into the MIC1 or MIC2/GT jack on the unit.
- MIC1 VOL: Rotate the MIC1 VOL directly to adjust the microphone volume as desired.
MIC2 VOL: Press MIC/GT button repeatedly to select microphone input option. Then rotate MIC2/GT VOL knob to adjust the desired microphone volume level. - MIC FIRST (18/ R8): Press this button to make the microphone volume louder than the music volume during singing. Press the button again to resume.
- DELAY (15): Rotate this knob directly to adjust microphone voice delay time.
- ECHO (14): Rotate this knob directly to adjust the echo intension.

- If the microphone is placed near the loudspeaker, a howling effect (acoustic feedback) may occur. If this happens, place microphone away from the loudspeaker.
- Tapping or dropping the microphone can permanently damage your microphone. Resist the urge to swing the microphone around by the cord.
Voice changeable function
This unit can transform your voice to other sound effects.
- Plug the microphone into MIC1 jack or MIC2/GT jack.
- Press V.CHANGE button repeatedly to select your desired voice effects: Woman voice, man voice, baby voice, monster voice, primary voice.
- The voice will change when you sing through the microphone.
- MIC1 VOL: Rotate the MIC1 VOL directly to adjust the microphone volume as desired.
MIC2 VOL: Press MIC/GT button repeatedly to select microphone input option. Then rotate MIC2/GT VOL knob to adjust the desired microphone volume level.
Note: If you want to sing without any voice effect, select "primary voice".
CHOOSING THE COLOR LIGHT MODE
When the unit is on, press
(3/ R7) button repeatedly to choose the mode as desired, there are 14 kinds of modes on speaker light. Press and hold
(3/ R7) button to turn off the light.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Should this unit exhibit a problem, check the following before seeking service:
No Power
- Make sure unit is connected to AC power.
No Sound – General
- External device's volume is set to minimum; raise volume.
- The M-1982DJ's volume is set to minimum; raise volume.
The Bluetooth device cannot pair or connect with the unit.
- You have not activated the Bluetooth function of your device. Refer to the user manual of your device to activate Bluetooth function.
- The unit is not in pairing mode. Press and hold the
button until the Bluetooth indicator blinks fast. - The unit is already connected with another Bluetooth device; disconnect that device and then try again.

- Do not expose this appliance to dripping or splashing water.
