Note: Do not power the camera off or change camera mode while the camera is capturing or storing a picture
or a video clip. Otherwise, the picture or video clip may become corrupted.

3. Press the shutter button half-way to activate the auto-focus lock until the green AF LED stops blinking and
the AF frame turns green. (fig.1.2)
• The camera will automatically determine the right focus, and a rapid click sound can be heard.
Note: For more information on Focus Lock, please go to p. 11. To change AF mode, please refer to p.24.
4. Press the shutter button fully to capture the image. (fig.1.3)
• When the image has been captured, the Flash Ready LED next to the viewfinder will blink to indicate that
the image is being stored.
• A preview of the image will be displayed on the LCD for 1 second. To change the preview interval, please
refer to p.42.
• The picture counter number displayed in the LCD will be updated.
