Low Fuel Indicator

Amber low fuel indicator light
(E2) will illuminate when the fuel
remaining in the tank is below
95 liters (25 gallons). A warning
buzzer will also sound.

Parking Brake Indicator

Amber parking brake indicator
light (A3) will illuminate when the
parking brake is applied. DO
NOT attempt to drive the truck
with the parking brake applied.

Service Brake Indicator

Amber service brake indicator
light (B3) will illuminate when the
service brake pedal is applied, or
when the wheel brake lock or
emergency brake is applied. DO
NOT attempt to drive the truck
with the service brakes applied.

Body Up Indicator

Amber body up indicator light
(C3), when illuminated, indicates
the body is not completely at rest
on the frame. DO NOT not drive
the truck until the body is down
and the light is off.

Dynamic Retarding Indicator

Amber dynamic retarding indica-
tor light (D3) illuminates when
the retarder pedal is pressed, the
RSC (Retarder Speed Control) is
activated, or the automatic over-
speed retarding circuit is ener-
gized.
Operator Cab and Controls

Stop Engine Warning

Red stop engine warning light
(E3) will illuminate if a serious
engine malfunction is detected in
the electronic engine control
system. Electric propulsion to
the wheel motors will be discon-
tinued, and the maximum engine speed will be
reduced to 1250 rpm. Dynamic retarding will still be
available if needed to slow or stop the truck.
Stop the truck as quickly as possible in a safe
area and apply the parking brake.
Shut the engine off immediately. Additional
engine damage is likely to occur if the engine
continues to operate.

Backup Indicator

Amber backup indicator light
(B4) will illuminate when backup
light switch (5, Figure 32-10) is
turned on.
Engine Shutdown Timer
Switch
When engine shutdown timer
switch (2, Figure 32-10) has
been activated, indicator light
(C4) will illuminate to indicate the
shutdown timing sequence has
started.

Retard Speed Control

Amber retard speed control light
(D4) is illuminated when the RSC
switch is pulled out to the ON
position.
