5. INSTALLATION.
5.1. LOCATION.
The inverters of the EQX series have been designed with an
enclosure with IP65 degree of protection, suitable for indoor and
outdoor installations. The following factors should be taken into
account when selecting an installation location for the inverter:
1.
The wall on which the inverters are mounted must be able to
support the weight of the inverter.
2.
The inverter must be installed in a well-ventilated environ-
ment.
3.
Make sure that the inverter is not exposed directly to strong
sunlight to avoid operation at excessive temperatures.
The inverter should be installed in a place sheltered from
direct sunlight and rain.
4.
Install the inverter at eye level for easy reading of the data
on the screen and better maintenance.
5.
The ambient temperature of the place where the inverter is
installed must be between -30ºC and +60ºC.
6.
The surface temperature of the inverter can reach up to
75ºC. To avoid the risk of burns, do not touch the inverter
during operation and install it out of the reach of children.
5.1.1. Installation location.
We recommend installing inverters indoors. However,
if there is no choice but to install outdoors, shows
recommended locations, as well as those to avoid:

Do not store flammable and/or explosive materials near
the inverter.

5.3. ELECTRIC CONNECTION.
An excessively high voltage on the conductive part of
the inverter may cause electric shock. When installing
the inverter, make sure that the AC and DC sides of the
Danger
inverter are completely de-energised.
Do not connect the positive or negative poles of the
photovoltaic panel to earth, since this may cause major

damage to the inverter.
Static electricity can damage the inverter's electronic
components. Take the necessary anti-static measures
