Contraindications

The active transfer slings of SCALEO Medical are NOT intended to be used:
•
When a patient is subject to loss of balance or discomfort,
•
For patients whose mental state is impaired (agitated patients)
•
In the case of medical contraindication of support following surgery of the shoulder, hip,
knee or ankle,
•
In patients with severe flexion deformity of the knee amputation not allowing a
standing position, even with support,
• In disabled patients of the lower limbs,
•
In patients with curvature of the spine,
•
In patients with muscle spasm,
•
In patients weighing more than the maximum load of the sling,
•
To transfer patients over a long distance,
•
To transfer patients on slopes.
