Remove the precooler assembly from the precooler housing.

Clean the precooler assembly using a mild soap and water. Let the precooler
dry thoroughly before installation.
CAUTION: During the cleaning process, DO NOT cut or remove the stainless steel
wire that holds the precooler assembly together.

Inspect the condition of the gasket. If the gasket is damaged, replace the
gasket.

Reassemble by repeating the steps in reverse order.
