Suggested Solution
Exit ConsoleWorks (but leave the
ConsoleWorks services running).
Start the service in the same way
as the ConsoleWorks services
(Section 11.5). The service name is
Compaq SMC HMMO Server.
Install JRE for Windows NT from
the SMC software CD
(\SMC_V3_1_kit\JRE\j2re-
1_3_0_01-win-i.exe). JRE for other
platforms can be found at the site
www.javasoft.com.
Enable JavaScript.
Internet Explorer: from the Tools
menu select Internet Options|
Advanced.
Netscape: from the Edit menu
select Preferences| Advanced.
Or change the name of the file to
SMCA.HTM.
Enable Java (menu selections are
the same as the item above).
Or change the name of the file to
SMCA.HTM.
Upgrade the browser. Supported
browsers are Internet Explorer 5.0
or later and Netscape 4.7 or later.
Or change the name of the file to
SMCA.HTM.
