PRECAUTIONS DURING USE

The shears are fi tted with a conductive trigger. This trigger must be in contact with the hand
holding the shears in order to create an electric contact through the user's body. To guarantee
that the system works properly the pruning shears must be in contact with the body.
IT IS THEREFORE ESSENTIAL THAT USERS MUST BE BARE-HANDED OR MUST WEAR
INFACO BRAND CONDUCTIVE GLOVES (REF. GWDSES AND/OR 355G29).
THIS SYSTEM IS ENTIRELY INCOMPATIBLE WITH ALL OTHER TYPES OF GLOVES.
The human body has specifi c and changing characteristics depending on each person. For
example, damaged or calloused hands may cause a delay in detection by the safety system.
To ensure that the system responds correctly for all users, we strongly recommend
that INFACO safety gloves are worn.
Furthermore, moisture, contact with trellis wires and
cutting green wood can inadvertently trigger the safety system. Wearing gloves reduces these
phenomena.
The conductive gloves must always be visually inspected and their conductivity levels checked
during calibration each time the device is turned on.
INFACO cannot be held liable for failures due to gloves in poor condition and/or non-
compliance with the procedures described in this manual.
For precautions to be taken when using the device, please refer to the F3015 user manual. To
reduce health risks, INFACO recommends that people wearing a pacemaker should consult a
doctor and the pacemaker manufacturer before using this system.
Always disconnect the pruning shears from the power cord during operations other than
pruning and
ALWAYS DISCONNECT WHEN SHARPENING OR LUBRICATING
SHEAR.
