"Walking a Line" (cont.)
When you have passed the transmitter, turn and retrace your steps back
toward the transmitter while watching the Pinpointer dial. The four "pie
wedge" shaped markers in the dial function as precision sighting cross
hairs.
As you return to the transmitter, the upper and lower markers will
increase in size as signal strength along the axis of magnetic flux lines
increases.
