OVERVIEW
Mag: used to detect a magnetic flux leakage (MFL) "smart pig."
GAIN Control & Indicator
to increase/decrease TRAXALL receiver sensitivity.

Usually, advancing gain about 1/3 up the scale –indicated by the stacked
green LED array on left–will be adequate to start with.
This image shows a normal gain setting.
MR Reset
When exposed to a very strong varying magnetic field, the magneto-
resistive (MR) sensor array used in Pinpoint and MAG modes can lose
sensitivity until it is reset.
Press Enter 8 while GAIN is highlighted will restore sensitivity. This
realigns the magneto-resistive magnetic dipoles.
When TRAXALL is in MAG mode the array is automatically reset.
