7.2.2 SERVICE MODE

• Service mode by Function Button operation
This is the service mode mainly for the disc-changer mechanism, and to be used for confirmation of error history and maintenance information,
adjustment of mechanisms, and aging. For details, see "(1) List of Buttons Function in Service Mode".
• Service mode using the remote control for service use
This is the service mode to operate the changer system from the RU-V101 connected during servicing. For details, see "(13) Service mode
operated from a remote control."
• Service mode for the built-in player only
This is the service mode to adjust and operate the player from the RU-V101 connected directly to the player.
• Function switches
The operation mode can be selected by setting the function switches.
Factory preset positions: ON for Switch 2 and OFF for all the other switches.

∗ Switches 5 to 8 are to be used for maintenance and repair of the mechanisms.
• Door control
When SW 5 is set to ON, the unit recognizes that the door is closed regardless of the actual door status. Use when you wish to operate the unit
by checking the inside indications during aging mode, etc. Normally, keep the switch set to OFF.
• Horizontal speed limitation
Use SW 7 during maintenance or repair of the horizontal-movement mechanism of the carriage. When this switch is set to ON, acceleration is
prohibited, and horizontal operation is performed at the lowest speed. Normally keep the switch set to OFF.
• Retry limitation
When SW 8 is set to ON, retry of a loading mechanism operation is limited. Normally keep the switch set to OFF.
