On the Mode Indicator, the horizontal address is displayed in real time.
• Manual Loading Operation mode (Mode #51)
To enter this mode, press the [ENT] button while in Mode #50. You can also enter this mode by pressing the [5], [1] and [ENT] buttons
consecutively while in initial status (Mode 0). In this mode, it is possible to drive the disc-loading mechanism and to monitor the readout
value of the loading mechanism switch in real time.
Displays the readout value of the loading mechanism switch (bits 0 to 4 correspond to SW 0 to 4) to indicate the status of the
loading mechanism:
0 : Status in which horizontal operation is enabled
– : Status in which horizontal operation is disabled
While the [7] button is held pressed, the carriage mechanism rotates counterclockwise (when viewed from the left side), and while the [9]
button is held pressed, it rotates clockwise.
Note: In this mode, operation of the loading mechanism is not restricted. So, a wrong operation may make the disc-chuck
mechanism pop out in the rear direction, causing collision. It is safer to remove the housing before entering this mode so
that the status of the loading mechanism can be seen. Wrong operation may damage the loading mechanism.
