4.11.4 Manual leg rest

This chapter shows you how to adjust the angle on a manual leg rest. The leg
rest can be adjusted and locked in a number of fixed positions. If the seat
depth is 510–560 mm (20"–22"), you can adjust the leg rest angle from 80°
( ) to 135° ( ). If the seat depth is 335–480 mm (14"–19"), the leg rest
angle
is 87.5°.
This is how you adjust the angle of a manual leg rest.
1. Pull out and hold the lock lever
to release the leg rest.
2. Adjust the leg rest to the preferred angle.
3. Release the lock lever

4. Make sure that the lock lever is in a locked position.

4.11.5 Swing away leg rest

This chapter shows you how to adjust the angle of the swing away leg rest.
When you drive the wheelchair, you must position the leg rest such that it
will not interfere with the castor wheels when they swivel. As you drive, the
castor wheels will swivel in all directions.
