PILOT ASSEMBLY Screen Hood Flame Spreader It is important to understand that this is a “standing pilot” system. When placing media around the pilot area ensure the top of the screen hood/cover is open to exhaust the Ignitor gases and enable the pilot to operate properly. See Fig. 9.
