Cleaning and Maintenance

Caution! Do not immerse the appliance in water and do not wash it in the dishwasher.
Unplug the power lead from the mains socket.
Wipe the appliance first with damp and then with dry cloth.
The beaker may be washed in the dishwasher.
Wash the blending device in the dishwasher or manually with a brush under running water.
After washing leave it standing upright (with the blade up) to drip and to dry.
Remark: During the processing of vegetables with aggressive coloring, e.g. red cabbage, plastic parts may
be subject to discoloration. This may be removed by rubbing such surfaces with a few drops of cooking oil.
Cleaning of the universal chopper
Do not immerse the chopper accessory in water and do not wash it in the dishwasher.
Unplug the power lead from the mains socket.
Release the appliance from the accessory.
Turn the cover in the anti-clockwise direction and remove it.
Hold the blade by the plastic extension and remove it.
The chopper and the blade may be washed in the dishwasher, while the cover extension may only be wiped
with damp cloth.
Environment
Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an
official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the environment.
