Changing the TN of an existing IP Phone 2001
1 Repower the IP Phone 2001.
Note: During the reboot sequence of a previously configured Internet
Telephone, the IP Phone 2001 displays the existing node number for
approximately five seconds.
2 If the node password is enabled and NULL, choose one of the following:
a. Disable the password.
b. Set the password as non-NULL.
3 Press OK when the node number displays.
If
the node password is enabled and
is not NULL
the node password is disabled
4 Enter password at the password screen, and press OK.
A TN screen displays.
Note: To obtain the password, enter the nodePwdShow command in
Element Manager. For further information, see
Communication Server 1000 Element Manager: System
Administration (553-3001-332).
5 Select the Clear soft key to clear the existing TN.
6 Enter the new TN.
