DA 60-920 433521 DA 60-920 intermediate plate, black Is supplied complete with control levers for 150mm opening. Approx 50% of the air is led out onto the intermediate plate which reduces the air velocity out of the air supply unit and thus also the velocity at the floor.
DA 60-920 3 Mounting guide Check that the parts ordered are present and undamaged before starting work. Please read through the entire guide before starting assembly and fitting. If the DA 60- 920 is installed in areas with ice/snow slide risk, the necessary measures must be taken to avoid damage to the exhaust units and wall exhausts.

DA 60-920 3.7 Mounting the duct Join the ducts 2 and 2. Mount clips at the top and bottom of the ducts. Attach support rings on the middle of the ducts, see sec- tion Mounting duct connector on the duct [} 21].
Page 20
DA 60-920 Several duct sections are joint with the arrow up. For each section the ducts are turned 90 ° to that they bond when mounted. The ducts are connected with duct connectors or storm protection kits, see section Mounting duct connector on the duct [} 21].
DA 60-920 3.8 Mounting duct connector on the duct The duct connectors consist of 2 halves and 4 M6x75 mm bolts and 4 M6 nuts. Place the 2 halves with the holes facing each other. Mount the duct connector on the duct with 2 M6x75 mm bolts and M6 nuts.
DA 60-920 3.10 Lead-through in ceiling Hang up a weight and mark the center and draw a hole, see table and drawing below. At the plastic membrane/vapor barrier (see arrow) the hole should be cut 30 mm smaller, which provides a good seal.
DA 60-920 3.11.2 Mounting the net Mount 4 screws on the bell mouth using 8 washers and 4 M6 nuts. Place the net on the 4 screws. Mount the net using 4 washers and 4 M6 nuts. Technical User Guide...
DA 60-920 3.11.3 Mounting the anchorage Insulation Wooden frame Joist A wooden frame is built around the hole for the duct an- choring to attach to. For lead-throughs in ceilings, 4 brackets are installed on the anchoring with M6x16 mm bolts and nuts.
DA 60-920 3.12 Mounting the bell mouth Mount the cone bracket on the reducing piece. Place the duct connector on the cone bracket. Make sure that the cone bracket meshes with the duct connector. Mount duct connector loosely with 4 bolts and 4 nuts.
Page 26
DA 60-920 Mount duct on the duct end and into the duct connector. Tighten the duct connector, see section Mounting duct connector on the duct [} 21]. Assemble bell mouth and transition piece using 8 pcs. 6x25 mm screws and 8 pcs. washers.
DA 60-920 3.13 Roof duct in roof Establish the center of the duct below the roof. Drill a small hole from the inside. Mark the center for the 2 offset circles. Draw the 2 circles with a radius of 500 mm.
DA 60-920 Apply the joint sealant in the joint and allow the sealing band to overlap by approx. 150 mm. Also apply joint sealant to the top of the sealing band all the way around the duct. 3.17 DA 920 suspension system on roofing sheet Place the suspension on the roofing sheet.
Page 29
DA 60-920 Mount 4 42x30 mm washers with 2 lock nuts each. Mount the DA 920 sealing band on the transition be- tween duct and roofing sheet. Pull the band tight all way around. Apply a strip of joint sealer where the sealing band starts.
DA 60-920 3.18 Mounting the flex flashing 3.18.1 Between roofing sheets and DA 920 smooth roofing sheet The flashing is always used for transitions between the building roofing sheets and the DA 920 smooth side roofing sheets. The flashing must be placed underneath the roofing sheet over the duct.
DA 60-920 3.19 Mounting the neoprene cloth Flashing with neoprene cloth is used for short roof in- lets where the duct is fixed to the ceiling structure and thus firmly anchored. Cut out an adequate hole in the roofing sheet, shown here with a 20°...
DA 60-920 Fit 4 wire mesh holders using 4 pcs. 6X25 mm screws and 4 washers. The groove in the wire mesh holder should mesh with the wire at the bottom of the mesh. Drill 8 holes ø5.5 mm holes in each rain screen after marking them up.
DA 60-920 3.22 Mounting the outlet funnel Mount screw M8x65 and nut. Work as a safety stop. Pull ø4 mm wire through the inner and outer telescope section and across the wire wheel. Mount bracket with wire wheel on the outer telescope with 4 M8x16 screws and nuts.
Page 34
Mount the outer telescope in the outlet fun- nel and clamp using 4 M8x60 screws and nuts. Tighten the 4 nuts loosely. Mount bracket for wire wheel on DA 60-920 clamp using 4 M8x16 screws and nuts. The thread on the screws must turn up- wards.
DA 60-920 Pull the wire through the slot and around the wire wheel. Mount the outlet funnel on the duct with clamp see section Mounting duct connector on the duct [} 21]. Tighten the clamp and nuts. Apply joint sealer between duct and outlet funnel.
