5.1 Transparent Transmission Mode (Mode )

Type When the M0 indicator light is off and the M1 indicator light is off, the DTU is working in mode 0
The radio receives user data from the serial port. The maximum length of the radio data packet transmitted
by the radio is 54 bytes. When the user input data reaches 54 bytes, the radio will start wireless
transmission. At this time, the user can continue to input the data that needs to be transmitted.
Sending When the user needs to transmit less than 54 bytes, the radio waits for about 20ms. If there is no user data to
continue to input, the data is considered to be terminated, and the radio sends all the data wirelessly. The
user can continue to enter data. Data packets sent through mode 0 can only be received by the receiving
station in mode 0.
Receiving The radio has been turning on the wireless receiving function and can receive data packets from mode 0.

5.2 RSSI Mode (Mode 1)

Type When the M0 indicator light is on and the M1 indicator light is off, the DTU is working in mode 1
Sending Wireless transmission is not allowed, and the received serial data will be discarded.
Air wireless data cannot be received, only the signal strength of the current channel is scanned, and a
strength value (relative value) is output through the serial port every 100ms.
Receiving Numerical calculation method: signal strength = -(256(decimal) – data(decimal)) dBm
If the hexadecimal value output by the serial port is 0x91, the actual signal strength is:
-(256(decimal)-145(decimal))=-111dBm

5.3 Configuration Mode(Mode 2)

Type When the M0 indicator light is off and the M1 indicator light is on, the DTU is working in mode 2
Sending Can be configured wirelessly
Receiving Can be configured wirelessly
