MyCare Online Services (MyCOS)
The MyCare Insite offers the possibilty to store test results on the encrypted MyCare Online Services
(MyCOS) servers. MyCOS provides a simple and secure way to manage MyCare Insite results from any
PC or tablet with internet connection. Doctors and laboratories have the option to view (with patient
name and ID), filter, and process results. This requires a secure, personal password. If the password is
lost, Saladax has no ability to retrieve the password or restore the results.
Use of MyCOS is voluntarily. No test results are stored until the MyCOS registration is completed.
When results are synchronised, Saladax Biomedical, Inc. can view the synchronised instrument data
without access to patient names or patient IDs. Only de-identified data is shown. Access to the data
provides additional information for technical support, should there be any problems. Anonymized data
ensures the privacy rights of patients and corresponds to the data protection regulations of the
European Union.
The feature to synchronise data from the MyCare Insite application into the MyCOS account can be
used according to the steps described on page 36,
The synchronised data can be viewed by using a web-browser e.g. on a PC or tablet. A description of

Sensitive data is encrypted by the Insite using industry standard cryptographic algorithms
(following ENISA recommendations) before transmitting data.
Data decryption is done on the web-browser. Saladax has no access to personal passwords
and cannot retrieve or restore data if a password is lost.
