PREGIO500
Multi-functional hybrid control unit
for intrusion detection systems
PREGIO500 is a multi-functional hybrid control unit that
supports both wired and wireless devices.
PREGIO500 is compatible with all EL.MO. serial devi-
ces (keypad, readers, power supply units, fog sensors,
concentrators and detectors) thanks to the ULTRABUS
interface.
The unit is also compatible with NG-TRX wireless tech-
nology through GATEWAY2K device over serial line.
Optional modules installable to improve unit operating
mode:
• MDWIFIH to connect the unit to a Wi-Fi network.
• MDGSMI to connect the unit to the GSM/GPRS net-
work via an internal antenna.
• MDPSTN to connect the unit to analogue phone li-
nes.
• MDVOICE64, that is a voice synthesis module that al-
lows to register up to 64 customized voice messages.
It is also possible to connect the unit to e-Connect mo-
dule via GPRS or Wi-Fi with the installation of MDGSMI
or MDWIFIH modules respectively.
PREGIO500 can manage:
• zones: 8 on-board zones, expandable up to 16 with
split function. It can manage a total of 24 zones using
concentrators.
• outputs: up to 24 outputs using concentrators and
optional relay modules.
• users: up to 32 users.
• control devices: up to 16 control devices (keypads,
proximity key readers) connected to a serial line.
PREGIO500 is supplied within a plastic case protected
against the opening of the cover and removal from wall.
