15.2 Checking the Sunny Central Cabling

1. Ensure that all connections are executed in accordance with the circuit diagram.
2. If no external fast stop is to be installed, ensure that the terminals are wired with a jumper according to the circuit
diagram.
3. Make sure that the AC, DC, and grounding conductor terminals are securely connected.
4. Ensure that there is equipotential bonding between the Sunny Central and the mounting location.
5. Ensure that all terminals in the interface cabinet are securely in place.

15.3 Checking the Voltages on the Sunny Central

15.3.1 Checking the DC Voltages

Danger to life due to electric arcs if the multimeter is not connected correctly
Contacting the measurement points incorrectly can cause an electric arc. Electric arcs may result in death or serious
injury.
• Use a measuring device.
• Select the appropriate measurement range on the multimeter.
• Wear personal protective equipment.
• Select correct measurement points.
Damage to the Sunny Central due to high DC voltages
The DC voltage of the PV array must not exceed the maximum voltage of the Sunny Central.

Procedure:
1. Measure the DC voltage for each input and record it in the commissioning report. Use the DC+ and DC‒ connection
lugs as measuring points.
2. Check that the DC voltages do not exceed the maximum DC voltage of the Sunny Central.
If the DC voltages differ from one another or exceed the maximum DC voltage, make sure that the cabling of the
PV modules has been configured according to the circuit diagram.
3. Make sure that the polarity of each input is correct.
