B-1-2) Select a density range [1] in which the symptom has occurred. Then, press the "Dark" button [2].
B-2) Change the Sharpness
B-2-1) From the copy screen, select Options > Sharpness [1] and press "High" [2].
[Caution] Change of the setting may cause interference fringe (Moire) with originals such as photos.
B-3) Scan the original in Text mode.
B-3-1) From the copy screen select and change Original Type [1] to "Text" and press "OK".
9) Output the image having shown the symptom, and check that the symptom does not occur.
If the symptom does not improve, then check other factors.
