Jump Start From Another Vehicle
Warning: The donor vehicle must have a 12 volt
battery and a negative (-), black earth terminal to
make sure that the correct battery polarity is
maintained.
Apart from vehicle recovery, this vehicle must
not be driven if the vehicle battery is incapable of
starting the engine. In this case the vehicle battery
must be replaced.
If the voltage or earth of the donor vehicle is
different or not known, do not attempt starting in
the way described.
If this vehicle will not start due to a discharged battery,
it may be started, for vehicle recovery, by connecting
the battery from another vehicle (donor) to this vehicle
(recipient).
If the vehicle battery is discharged and the doors are
closed there will be no access to the vehicle interior. To
connect a doner battery remove the right side front
