It is your responsibility to install it in conformance with local electrical codes. Unpacking and Installation General Usage Do not use this product for anything other than its intended usage. Unpacking Remove your hotplate, stirrer or stirring hotplate from the carton. Inspect to ensure that the unit has not been damaged during shipment. If the unit appears to have sustained shipping damage contact Cole-Parmer Customer Service at 800-323-4340. -
