Totalizer (menu 3.5...3.7)
The totalizers have fixed counting direction settings. The counting direction cannot be changed. The
totalizers directly accumulate the physical measured values according to the negative or positive sign, i.e.
the reverse totalizer only accepts negative values.
The reading of the net totalizer is cumulated from the flow values with the correct sign and is not
calculated from the difference of the contents of the forward and reverse totalizer. If individual totalizers
are reset or started at different points in time, the reading on the net totalizer may deviate from the
difference between the forward and reverse totalizer.

Totalizers can also be preset to lower values <>0 (PRESET_TOT parameter) using PROFIBUS.
All totalizers can be set at the same time in menu 1.3.4.
Unit (menu 3.5.2, 3.6.2, 3.7.2)
The units can be entered separately for each totalizer. When there is a switchover between volume and
mass flow (menu 3.1.1), the totalizer readings will be automatically converted according to the selected
density. The unit is also automatically converted to the unit last set for the corresponding type (volume or
mass).
Limit values (menu 3.5.3, 3.6.3, 3.7.3)
The same instructions apply to limits with quantity totalizers as to the output scales (see p. 32). Totalizer
readings and assigned limit values should also be considered according to positive or negative sign here,
i.e. the lower limit value is greater than the upper limit!
The hysteresis is only evaluated with the net totalizer as value fluctuations are only possible there.
5.4
Device Outputs Function Group
5.4.1
PROFIBUS (menu 4.1)
Bus Address
Any address in the range 1 to 125 is possible in principle. The master on the PROFIBUS recognizes that
an address has not been specifically issued to this device from the factory setting 126. We recommend
setting an address > 30 for SITRANS F as addresses below 30 are normally issued to masters. Each
address on the PROFIBUS may only be issued once.
The address can only be changed if there is no cyclical communication and all acyclic connections are
closed.

The selected totalizer is stopped and set to "0". The totalizer remains stop-
ped and may have to be restarted.
The selected totalizer is started.
